The Architectural Committee's responsibility comes from the association's bylaws or CC&Rs. Members of the Architectural Committee are responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and structural integrity of the association and enforcing the CC&Rs. They need to review any applications for modifications, additions, or architectural changes in the community.
Prior to Making Modifications
Prior to doing any new construction, modifying the exterior, or making any improvement to your property or lot, you must request written approval from the Architectural Committee. Please download the Architectural Committee appropriate form, read it carefully and submit/send the completed form and supporting materials to the Architectural Committee.
The Architectural Committee utilizes the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions Restrictions (CC&R's) as the guideline for approving all requests. Every homeowner received a copy of the declaration of Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions with their settlement papers at closing. Execution of a document agreeing to abide by these Covenants is a condition of receipt of title to property in Williamsburg Estates. Please read these documents carefully. If you have misplaced your Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions, you may also download a free copy.
